Gaaaaaaaaah!

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

For the first time in a very long while I'm questioning the Con. I have a great time there every year and though prices raise every year, I've taken that in stride. But the e mail I just got makes me question whether I'm going this next year.

I'm a person who's pretty on top of things, my room is booked and my ticket is bought for the next year before I even leave. But the hotel I'm booked at will cease to be next month. Let me say it again, I no longer have a hotel reservation for next year's con because the hotel simply won't exist then.

(walks away, cry/screams)

If I want a room under $200 the closest ones available are near the San Diego airport.

(screams again)

This is ***king October, not even a full 3 months after the last one and it's already almost impossible to find a room.


There was nothing more I could have done back in July short of seeing the future.

I'm just truly frustrated guys :(

I got two pages written Monday but none yesterday, it turned into a research day (me, youtube, episodes of Transformers Animated). Which isn't laziness is it? My brain just wouldn't get into writing mode.
Guh! If I get some done tonight I won't worry about this any more.

It's been a while since I went back to punching out pages of the novel, I've been working on secret project (which is secret), so secret that according to the rules I can't post it anywhere (but if you happen to send me a note with your e-mail that's not posting it. hint hint)

The bottom line is I need to get the writing done, and somehow through that I'll find my sanity among the rubble.

It all started because I said "Yay Blue Beetle is in Brave and the Bold! Let's check it out :D
Two hours of incredulous-ness later (only 1 man can get away with wearing the cowl and saying "chum" at the same time and that aint him) I need to vent and state some new rules.

Because this is my page, it makes the verdict I place down official!
(but as always I can be easily influenced by cookies and clear arguments)

(if Smallville ever does a bat character it will also not exist)
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (I decree it lame because writing must be strong ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE SCRIPT)

Jack would call Bill a tool (if they used the term tool in the 30's which they didn't) It helps that Jack hasn't been a vamp for as long and there is a less rigid structure to his vamp universe but still Jack WOULD call him out on that.
